I have an old 17in HP CRT monitor with a mic that I love and adore dearly, but I'm afraid she's getting old. I can play all my games (except maybe Doom 3) on her highest res, 12 x 10, with all settings maxed. Oh well, I don't have the money to invest in a better monitor (and she works fine), so I guess I'll have to imagine the power my vid card can create. Muahahaha.

Cool site, nice prices but I wouldn't ever buy a b grade monitor.

Wow, that was usefull :p . Well, at least you can play at 1280x1024 with uber AA and AF. That is sometimes better than higher resolutions (to me, at least).

I usually play at 1152x864 or 1280x1024 with 8xAF and 4xAA, rather than playing at my monitor's (ViewSonic A90f+) max resolution, 1792x1344. To me, it just looks better, not to mention, faster. Besides, I can't stand refresh rates below 85Hz anyway ;) .
