I recently upgraded my rig from XP Pro to Vista Ultimate using new graphics drivers, bios update, all windows updates and such. For some reason whenever I surf the web via IE8 Beta or Firefox 3.0.1 my screen will completely black out for a few seconds and then come back. I noticed that this only happens when I'm browsing specific websites, including these forums, and if I continue to browse, the screen will continually black out, come back, and then eventually the screen "completely" blacks out and nothing I do gets it to come back. Like I said, it only happens when using internet browsers and when it does black out, I can ctrl+alt+delete to bring up the task manager and it will come out of the black out. Likewise, I can close the application and the screen will come back, however, once it "completely" goes black, there is nothing I can do to get it back, thus I have to restart my computer.
I have never ran into a problem like this especially when I was running XP, so I don't know if this is Vista related. I installed the latest graphics driver, checked the physical connections at my monitor and video card, I don't know what is going on.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, Thanks!
Chris
