i have a compaq FS740 Monitor and a Radeon 9500

Would my monitor be able to use the graphics to the max or what?

What would i have to do

Er... that's not really how it works. If your monitor can do 16.7 million colors and whatever resolution you want to use, then you're fine.

K, looked up the monitor specs.

You can do 1024x768 at 85 Hz. If you want a better res at more than 60 Hz, you'll need a new screen. But yes, you can use that Radeon to its full potential on that monitor.
