monitor advice [CTX-PR960F]

The PC magazine I always buy has named this 19" monitor the best buy and editors choice, time and time again. This makes me want to buy it (I need a monitor), but is there any flaws with this monitor I should know of? perhaps you owned one or knew someone that owned one and like share your experiences with me.

I found a guy on usenet that bought this and he said it was great for over 2years running, no problems at all.. so I guess I'm looking more than one persons opinion. Since I'm close to confirming it.

Also, I do not want anyone suggesting the samsung monitor.. please, it sounds like you guys are getting royalites for each referal, I just don't believe samsung can make good enough monitors, plus they have those 2 lines buzzing along the screen.

I live in the UK, so no newegg or hotforumdeals for me.
I'd like anyones thoughts on this, and if you suggest a better monitor tell me why you picked it before the CTX.

ALL FDTRON or NF tube based monitors have the "two lines". Don't crap on Samsung for that. Samsung IS as good as people say it is and since you don't seem to have any experience with Samsung monitors.....you shouldn't be bashing on them. Try it out first.

Thanks for that totally expected post. But seriously, samsung monitors weren't no where near the top in the past (pretty much the ones to avoid) and when I see everyone raving on about the latest one, it does make me want to buy it and try it, though the "two lines" is putting me off (yes too wee small lines), that goes for any NF tube based monitors.

Since the CTX model does not have this problem... someone has bound to have some experience with it?
