mongoose > ferret = how to get one?

AFAIK mongoose can not be domesticated. You'd have to keep it in an aquarium or it would feed on your face.

Smart animals can be a real bear to live with. Try somthing dumb like a gerbil or snake, they wont destroy your home like Chimpanzee or mongoose would.

Basically you cannot get a mongoose in the US unless it is one of the species not included in the "most species" catagory.

How is this different than cats? Cats kill just about everything around.
