hey had a question.... and coudnt find an answer

Why are mughals called "mongols" when they're turks from uzbekhistan??


from what ive researched and found , it says that its because duringt hat period... all invaders called themselves mongols ... another reason was that they were influenced by genghis khan or somethin..

does anyone know a good history forum which has some knowledgable people in it?
