Is it legal for places to say that they only accept currency in bills less than $20, even though all U.S. paper money says: "This note is legal tender for all debts, public and private"?

No shop has to serve you. They can refuse service for wearing green shoes if they want.

Do you think you could call a store on not taking your $100 bill because they didnt have enough change to cover it? And if they did that it would use up most of their change?
