money order lost.i sent money order 01/31/03 from texas to florida, it has been 8 days what is procedure to get my dealer his money.i have western union recipt,they want 12.00 to do a search .what should be my part on the seach.
 
They want to charge you $12.00 do to do a search?!!! :Q Man, what a rip-off! Next time buy Post Office MO.

Yeah, cause the post office will only shaft you for $8 or whatever...

 
kinda crappy that if it was sent western union, and the recipient didnt get it, they make you pay them to find where they fcked up
 
yikes.....that's more than a 1/3 of the MO.....just to find it.....that's so jacked up, maybe it'll get returned to sender if not correct postage or bad address or something, and sometimes they take a while to get around to that, it was about two weeks after i sent a letter, it came back to me 🙁
 
I had to track a WU Money order once. Turned out the Pr!ck cashed it and never sent the item(Ebay). I made them pay for the tracking thingee. It takes FOR EVER, mines took just over a month til they mailed me the copy of the cashed MO. Good luck with your problem...
