I have had Money 2002 installed on my Windows 2000 laptop for some time now and it works fine. I have recently installed it on my desktop (XP) and now when I try to download updates from the Internet it freezes. I looked on the microsoft website and found this "fix".

The problem is, of course, this doesn't work. After I applied the patch, the program worked correctly once. Now it doesn't work anymore. I have even tried running the patch again, even each time before I start Money. Nothing. Microsoft basically says the problem is caused by my computer not being able to be redirected to another web site where the updates are now stored. However, I have Win XP and IE 6.0 which I think should handle web page redirects.
Any ideas???
Thanks!!!
