Money 2001 Deal at OD B&M

I don't know if this goes for the online store or not, and I don't really know if you could pull this off online or on the phone, but I went to my local OD yesterday after seeing the "Money 2001 Deluxe (29.99) + taxcut (9.99) = free after $40 r3bate" deal.

They put the picture of the Money Deluxe in the ad for 29.99 when it should have been the Standard. They gave me the deluxe for 29.99 anyway after I showed them the ad and the price. Also, the Money box has a $20 rebate in it and the taxcut box has a rebate for up to $34.95. My only problem is that I think I can only do one of the rebates because of the UPC code. Any ideas on this?

I also picked up a $10 10/100 netgear NIC at CC. They were sold out of the free 30 CD-R spindles and the free zenith remote controls. :-(

the taxcut and money are supposed to go together. check staples, they have the deal, but they give you an additional two more software selections for free, but i thing they charge for the taxcut.

I went to OD in Mountain View, CA today and got the Deluxe 2001 and Taxcut for $40 bucks combined (with 40 MIR included to reduce price down to $0).

The initial CS manager didn't understand why it was cheap and refused to sell it to me at the advertised price and started yelling at me in front of other customers! I couldn't believe it. Anyhow, she called her main manager after I told her they were then violating "Bait & Switch" under California Commercial Code. As soon as the main manager came in, he didn't even disagree with me once, immedietely apologized for the misprint, and honored the price, as well as let me use one of the $15 off 50 coupon codes out there without the physical coupon!
I must say i was VERY impressed with this office depot location!

With regards to using both rebates, you can't. It expressively states that you can only use one rebate on the back of the $34.95 rebate. I checked too. hehe
