The ESPN MNF have been some of the worst broadcasts I have ever seen.

Football can be exciting on its own without having to bringing in and interviewing some B-list celebrity and asking moronic questions of each other for half of the game while mostly ignoring the action on the field.

For the record, Jay-Z is a legitamite A-List Celeb.
That said, I wish they'd just show the damn game. I don't really care what he has to say.

I never really cared for Kornheiser, but he is 28359258295 times better than Theismann, and it is absolutely PRICELESS whenever he puts Theismann in his place, where Theismann will often say one thing (that isn't very smart) and then go and say the exact opposite even if its only 30 seconds (or one play) later - and Kornheiser will call him on it and say something with a 'are you a complete dumbass or what?' tone, and it is absolute gold.

Quoted for truth.

He is so argumentative with Kornheiser too... it's like he almost feels the need to refute everything Tony says.

Oh and PTI is the best damn sports show on TV :p

His horrid new single that every commercial is using these days drops him by one letter. If he was A before, he's B now. If he was B before, he's C.

Seriously, I like a little rap and hip-hop now and then, but that song is just talentless crap.

Kornheiser's only knows how to criticize, altho is rather hindered by his complete lack of knowledge of the game of football.

Berman can't talk for more than 10 seconds at a time or you think he's having a stroke.

but the whole crew was totally outshown it week #1 when there were 2 Monday Night games, and the other crew w/ Dick Vermeil doing color commentary was WAY better.
They had Jaworski on that team as well. I think he's great even if he's a little too apologetic for QBs at times.

I'm telling you guys, I'd love to see Jon Chelesnik doing MNF. If you ever listened to ESPN radio a few years ago at night, he's the Sports Doctor.

Honestly though, the current crop of commentators sucks. The pickings are slim.

It didn't work with Dennis Miller.

Oh for the love of all that is holy let us please forget that Miller was ever a part of MNF. *shudders*
