Monday May 17th on Monster Nation, car stereos!!!

monday on monster nation they should be showing a 3 minute blurb on Car audio, and DBdrag specifically. With some footage from Cleveland which may include some bolts falling from the roof of the convecation center, and some windows breaking, some hair tricks, i dont know what else. but the vans that will be shown are insane. The ones that were invited to the filming are top notch, running more than 10K watts of power, like 15 batters, and about 15 alternators. I hope its sweet.

just tune in 😀

That is the stupidest hobby ever. Not stereos in general but the competition for who can make the loudest continuous tone. How is that fun? It's just deafening.

it takes so much skill to make a car loud it isnt funny. the amount of work and ideas put into each vehicle is crazy. There are reasons the main cars in the street classes are CRX's because they are easy to make loud, but to get other vehicles to that level takes a lot of work, money, time, and trials. plus you have to hope stuff doesnt blow, because every component you are using is normally at its limit.

Regardless of the amount of skill or effort it takes, it's still just making ear damaging noises. why not just hang out at a firing range or the end of an airport runway for fun?

there are SQ competitions, but those have taken backseat to SPL comps, dont ask me why. SQ is insane also. which is, how accurate can your car sound, with the image being positioned in the correct spot, nothing out powering one another, every little thing about your install effects your score.

ok, it was on. about what i was expecting. a cool shot of 31 1500 watt amps, 80 8 volt batteries. a full size van bagged, i believe one of the men speaking i had talked to on the phone previously, he is from akron, it should be on again l8r if you missed, discovery re-airs everything like 2 or 3 hours after it previously aired.
