I cancelled my order on 7/27 and they still have yet to refund me my money. I'm on the phone with them right now and currently i'm on my third time being on hold. I tell them i've been waiting for my refund for a month and the guy says: one second please. Then I get put on hold for about 5 minutes and the phone starts ringing and the guy treats me like a brand new customer and asks me what he can do for me.
 
That's why I never order from Monarchcomputer.com again. You see the crap they are doing with the Conroe pre-order and no refund?
 
I almost ordered from them once before I decided to just build my own after I had allready done the research myself anyways. (and saw the price they offered) Glad I didn't do it.

They have a good inventory and good prices, but their CS is too inaccessible. I would gladly pay a few more bucks if necessary for customer support and won't be ordering from them again.
 
I was in the same boat as the OP. Cancelled my order on May 9th. Didn't get my refund until the end of July.
 
I once almost ordered from them. Then I realized it would be stupid so I went to newegg instead.
 
You should've ordered from Newegg where the customer service reps actually speak English and know what's going on w/ your order. People who buy $5 cable on Newegg's no payment for 6 months preferred account do not apply.

Damn, they have a lower 6 month rating than ZZF.

Props to the OP for that spark of brain power. But let's call this thread for what it really is: Vendor Bashing.

If you didn't get your way, you obviously have no skills or stones. Everyone has a boss. When the Supervisor won't help you, ask for the GM. When that doesn't work, let them know you're filing a complaint with the BBB in their home state of business and DO IT. There are some companies that will never get my money again; but I can guarantee you that I got my MONEY BACK FROM THEM.
 
yeah i had hopes for them, but they just keep on sucking. I had the same thing on the 7900 launch. only after posting a reseller rating did i get some major brown nosing. guess that flagged me for teir 2 CS. They really need A)real-time inventory on their web site or if not, at least B)prompt refunds when they notify you that they are OOS and will be for 2 more weeks.
 
took a post to resellerratings to get a responce from their CS dept on an issue with an order i had. they actually called me multiple times attempting to resolve the situation on the weekend even whcih iw as really surprized by. eventually everything was resolved, but getting there was the worst part.
