Mommy, someone hanged Santa!

There was a guy who owned a local business, and put up a foam/rubber human sized cutout with our governor's name painted on it. Hung it from a noose and everything, wrote some nasty stuff on a sign next to it, right in front of his business on the main street in town. Cops wouldn't do anything because he was protected blah blah blah. One night it mysteriously went up in flames. Same thing should happen here, one or more people should simply go over and cut it down, and the cops can conveniently look the other way.

I don't go out on my lawn and display inappropriate things just because I can, there's something called decency. He's doing this just to get a rise out of people, if it were a political statement he'd talk to the press, all he's doing is being a dick.

BTW I like how they put his full name and address in the article, makes it much easier to find a phone number.

on a scale of 1 to asshole, i'd rank him as a really big asshole.

come on, atleast take it down for the kids.

i wouldnt be suprised if he got a few bricks through the window. i dont think many people would feel bad for him either.

If I decided that a manger scene depicting the Baby J-Meister with some old wise asses was "indecent" to me and my beliefs/values, would you also suggest that it be taken down or that the owner receive a brick through his window? Somehow, I doubt it.

There is *not* really something tangible called "decency," as it varies greatly from person-to-person. He is well within his rights to display this, and you are well within your rights to be offended. And I hope you both have a Merry Fvcking Christmas!
