Jeez, only 20 years?

While what she did was bad, it's not deserving of much more than that.

The hell it isn't. How many years would that kid have to live with it, if it hadn't been a cop?

yup... don't forget that this probably isn't the first time this happened...

He's right, she attempted to commit this crime but wasn't able to go through with it - there's a difference. If she did it before, by law, she'd have to be proven guilty before she could be convicted of it, and that would be separate from this incident. I'll be the first to admit, and take issue with, the fact a man would have gotten at least 50 years, possibly life. Women can do no wrong, according to popular culture. IMO both genders should be tied to railroad tracks for something like this, but I'm not a legislator...

I agree.

Give her a few months... however long it takes to get the paperwork in order to end her worthless life.

Welcome to the land of drugs and addictions. If it wasn't a proposition to an undercover, it would be to a boyfriend in return for her fix and roof over her head.

That's not nearly as uncommon as people would like to think.

Stop putting so much God damn emotion into anything. This is the law, not what your little heart craves. Like I said, she ****** up big time, but more than 20 years is excessive, a waste of time and a waste of our money.

Our money doesn't mean squat, compared to the health and well-being of a seven year old girl. Any "mother" who could do that wouldn't stoop to much, and should be locked away for life.

You skipped my other two points. First of all, after 20 years, she won't have anymore kids to do this with, she'll likely realize that what she did was messed up, and won't want to do it again.

I mean, why do we need to ruin even more lives, rather than actually rehabilitate?

no...sorry...wrong answer. That was a SEVEN YEAR OLD CHILD she was SELLING FOR SEX!!

There is nothing that they can do to this woman that would be "too much". Nothing...this child, and likely similar problems with this one and the others similar to this (you don't just wake up one day and think "damn, that girl is worth some cash to some sicko"). They have ruined the lives of likely 3 CHILDREN. Tell me why they deserve anything other then a bullet in the brain pan?

You're more generous than I am. 😉 As I get older, I'm getting to be less inclined to feel sorry for people who were probably farked up as kids who go on to do crimes against others. Our species really doesn't gain much by trying to rehabilitate people who prey on the innocent. Do our species a favor and cull the herd when it's necessary.
