Once again it goes to show that having children should be a revocable privilege not a right that anyone has.

Obviously being drunk while caring for the child is wrong. But how much alcohol would actually make it into the breast milk? Would it be comparable to her BAC?

Someone please implement a law that requires a permit to have a child, requirement would be that they know babies are little people not pets or playthings.

This reminds me of all the preggos I saw smoking, because their doctor told them they had to smoke during their pregnancy.

If you smoked before being pregnant, and then you say got pregnant without planning it, the shock of going through smoking withdrawal may sometimes be worse than smoking in moderation itself.

1. This woman is stupid
2. The state is even worse for considering throwing her in prison for 5 years for "neglecting" her kid. I mean if you think that breastfeeding your kid while drunk is neglect, then what would you consider throwing the mother in prison for 5 years to be? It seems to me that it would be even worse for the kid.
