mom going to isreal

my mom owns a jewelry business and wants to go to isreal to do some business. How safe is it over there now? I am deff going with her if she goes.

I know its not that bad...just haven't heard anything that bad in the news recently

The situation over there is overhyped by the media due to its political significance. I don't have personal travel experience there but from what I've read I don't think you have much to worry about. Check out Lonely Planet's Thorn Tree Forums or Wikitravel for more specific information.

Stay away from the West Bank and Gaza and you'll be fine. Not like you'll be allowed to go near those areas anyway...

Edit: Be aware though, if your mom plans on traveling to any Arab nation in the future that they will refuse her entry with Israeli stamps in her passport. The way to get around this is to ask immigration to stamp a separate sheet of paper and explain the situation (that your mom wants to do business in Kuwait or the UAE or something).
