There's nothing sick about torturing kidnappers.

wow just from the thread title and the responses and having children of my own i don't think i could bring myself to read the article

How did the guy get those photos developed? I thought the photo techs check the pictures (for quality) before giving them to customers?

What about the cameras that print pictures shortly after being taken? Polaroid, IIRC.

There is a huge conspiracy theory with this kid who disappeared and a bunch of other political stuff including pedophilia. I've read into it due to another forum posting the conspiracy. If you search Google for the kids name, you'll find some strange stuff.

Heh, I didn't even think about that. Oh well there goes my whole its-the-photo-devoloper-guy theory. 🙁

Might have developed them himself

Yeah I was thinking that too. I know black and white photos are easy do develop yourself, but color photos are (according to my highschool photography teacher) much harder. The story did not specify if the photos were in color or not, but I'm assuming they were. Heh, this was just my sad attempt at being an e-detective...😱

From wikipedia:

"By Noreen Gosch's account, she was awakened one night in March, 1997 by a knock at her apartment door. Waiting outside was Johnny Gosch, now approximately 27 years old, accompanied by a man she had never seen before. The other man never identified himself, and never spoke, but seemed nervous and serious. Johnny divulged that his had been a targeted, not random, abduction, in 1982. His captors had forced him into a decade of child sex-slavery. Johnny explained that as his survival was a potential security breach for the conspiracy, he was currently, and probably permanently, in hiding, and would likely never see her again. Johnny and the unidentified man left the apartment. After this visit, Noreen Gosch finally turned off her porch light."

"Noreen Gosch, in her book Why Johnny Can't Come Home and on her website johnnygosch.com, continues to assert that her son is alive and in hiding, and to publicize the notion that an international government conspiracy of Satanists, pedophiles, and pornographers is behind the disappearance of the young paperboy from West Des Moines"

She sounds like a kook. But then, I suppose sometimes truth is stranger than fiction.
