I don't think it's really a big deal. Perhaps the daughter wanted to "fit in" or try out a thong and see how it was. You know how girls are always wearing makeup and dressing up to try and seem older (almost like playing house). Maybe this was a reward for her b/c she got all A's on her report card. Now if the mom is buying the girl thong underwear and encouraging low rise jeans where the thong hangs out of the back, then it's not cool. But to me it may just be a case of the girl playing "dress up"

exactly
chances are the mom isnt going to have her wear the thing sticking up out of her jeans... its probably better to have her mom tell her how to wear them than her friends.

like she's gonna listen to her mom.

peer pressure FTW!

Among the many things I've learned from being married:

There are legitimate reasons for a young lady to own a thong. For example, they supposedly are very comfortable, they create no panty lines, and when worn under light colored pants (read: nearly see-through pants), they aren't as visually obvious as regular panties.

Its not like shes buying it to impress men, its just a form of underwear.
Not a big deal

So if you had a 10 years old daughter, you would let her wear thongs so boys and sadly...older men would stare at it? And nothing is wrong with this?

How would they see the thong through her pants? Underwear is underwear.. who cares.

because many girls wear their underwear so it IS noticable by the opposite sex. they wear LOW rise pants and their g-string or thong sticks out.

My take on this: kids are growning up faster and faster today. Sure, its a pair of underware, but it is still considered more sexy than a pair of briefs. WHen i was that age, i did shop at VS when i was that age, but my mom would only buy me regular briefs. I shopped there because that was the only underware that fit that was not "little girl" underware.
anyways, i find that distrubing, just like i find it the same way seeing girls wearing makeup and hot shorts with cropped tops.

The lady immediately check the girl size and shout out "oh, she a extra small" and giggle afterward. I was just mind-blown by this scene. What kind of mother encourage 10-12 girl to wear thong? Am I the only one that see this as wrong?

doesn't the average child have sex at 13 now? this is no surprise to me :x

you're delusional if you think that...

why is it wrong? if you had not been in that store and saw them and known what mom was buying for who and saw them 15 min later walking down the mall you would have never have known the girl was wearing a thong.

people worrry about too many things that just dont matter and are none of their business.

why? its true. many women wear them for comfort level. from what i have been told is that thongs are more comfortable because there is less material to get weged in thier ass crack.

then its a issue of the outterwear not the underwear.

but the whole thing IS wedged into their ass crack...i don't get it. its always wedged there. with regular panties, you only have a chance of it gettign wedged

My girlfriends mom buys her thongs. From what I know she was buying them for her since she was pretty young (maybe 12-13). Pretty hot stuff, too bad her moms not hot :(
