Mom and Pop Computer Shops in Galveston or on Houston' South Side?

Ok heres the thing, I may be moving to Galveston,TX from Austin where I have lived 99% of my life, I kinda want to get a head start and know where (if there are any) Mom and Pop type computer shops in Galveston or on the South side of Houston. Any Replies are welcome.

that seems to happen with my threads, i had one in video that i had asked about a Kyro I and it turned into a Kyro II vs Geforce 2 GTS flamewar...
i guess i should expect that though this is the Off Topic Forum....

Not sure about Galveston but in Southwest houston there's a bunch of computer shops (not necessarily mom/pop but are of the same size, small businesses kinda).

Once you get here just pop open the local yellow pages and be bedazzled by the selection

If you do get to move to Houston (around the SW area) drop me a PM or so and i'll try to give you a tour of H-town.

Axiontech is in SW houston off of 59. They are a great store. Directron.com is in Houston somewhere too. Add in Fry's (North Houston on 45), and you have some pretty good selection As far as Galvestion goes, it is pretty bare except for Radio Shack
