These kinds of stories are depressing. That poor child (and surely hundreds of thousands of similar cases) being tortured almost to death by the only people in the world that one would expect to ALWAYS look out for them. Sickening. WTF is wrong with people??

Many people have no idea how many children born into welfare environments are nothing other than profit generators for the welfare parents.

They are literally nothing other than a way to bump up their handout amounts.

And I get it, we shouldn't "punish the kids" for what their parents are doing, but this train HAS to be stopped somehow. It's one of these cut off the foot to save the leg situations.

Honestly I think kids being raised in that sort of environment is far worse than even group home situations.

This is absolutely false, in fact whites make up 42% of the poor but take 69% in welfare and government assistance and benefits as compared to minorities. The majority of whom are in the southern regional states like Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas, Alabama, etc. They are generally in the poorest areas and are your typical rednecks.

Redneck is, at least in my area, not anything based on race. It's more of people who are prideful of southern culture. They drink sun brewed sweet tea, they enjoy bbq on sunday, they're a proud and respectful people. They tend to not care for loud mouth new yorkers.
