The kids said that Ms. Johnson was already drunk and drove the car at a high rate of speed, going off the road at least once

In the morning, Ms. Johnson told him to get her an Egg McMuffin; when Joshua told her that he did not have a licence, she told him to go anyway.

Ms. Johnson then drove the boys home, and the boys stated that she was driving at a high rate of speed, close to 100mph
