Molex to 6pin PCIe

I want to know how exactly one has to connect a 2-molex to 6-pin PCIe adapter, you need to have one free line of molex, and connect only one of them to one molex in the adapter, or two molex from different lines one to each of 2 molex ?

I have a PSU 600W, with 1 6-pin PCIE, and +12V1 - 19A / +12V2 - 19A, 1HDD and 2Fans, with a low-end motherboard and a Dual Core AMD of around 65W consumption, and I want to connect a Gainward GTX 570 GS.

The graphic card needs 2x 6pin PCIe, one is covered because the PSU have it, the other is for using with the adapter, need to know if it have to connect one or two molex-inputs of the adapter.

What is this 2-molex you're referring to? What you need is a 4-pin molex female to 6-pin PCIe male adapter.

Which 600W PSU is it? It's not common for such a high wattage unit to have only one PCIe connector, and if it's not very good quality, using an adapter may not be a good idea.

I mean the adapter, has 2 inputs 4pin molex, 1 output 6pin PCIe, if the 2 input molex have to be connected/used

It doesn't really make much difference. On a single rail PSU it's all from the same place anyway, and on a multiple rail PSU, depending on how the rails are split, it also is probably from the same place as well (if it's 2 rails, if it's 4 you can probably use different rails, but on a 600w PSU with only one PCIe connection it's probably not a real multiple rail anyway, bringing it back to all coming from the same rail).

They also make single molex to PCIe adapters, so it's safe even if it's all from one power source, but you might as well connect 2 to your adapter if you have 2 spare connectors, but any two should be fine.

So I just connect the adapter to two molex and I'll have ready my second 6pin PCIe for the card, right?
