Molding GURU's :Paint for painting the CD drive

I want to paint my biege cd-rw drive, to match my metallic grey case.
Does anyone know which paint to use and where to get one.

I used this Krylon Glossy Black spray paint recently. It has a glossy look as it suggests. Not quite sure if it's metallic, but it's shinier then the rest of my black Chieftec DX-01BD (Antec SX10x0).

i hear vinyl dye works really well for case painting. i haven't tried it firsthand though. you can pick some up at your local automotive store.

I used it, then went over it with some 3M polishing compound - that stuff really brings out the shine.

vinyl dye works well. i dont know if it comes in the metallic grey color that you want though. all ive seen was black and a flat grey at walmart. see if that grey is the one you want.

Krylon is excellent -a perfect match for IBM black and easy to work with but you want the semi-flat black, not gloss.
