Moisture wicking shirts = anything made of polyester?

i usually wear cotton tshirts, but hate the way it retains sweat.

i looked into alot of wicking tshirts (ie: Under armor, REI, Starter, etc) and see that the main (if not only) material is polyester.

So any polyester shirt will do?

No, it's the weave. Polyester can be very hot and keep sweat in. It's how it's woven and the fiber used.

I prefer wicking golf shirts, they work.
