MOHAA....Escape from Fort Schmerzen?

I can set the explosives and get up the elevator but then I get fried before I can get out of the Fort. A spoiler would be welcome at this point. Thx for any help.

keep shooting and run for your life. Just goto the exit without getting burned and there's a exit where you have to turn the wheel to get out.
