Has anyone played it on PC (released jan 2nd) and PS2? Are they the same?

it does own on the PS2.... I wondering if the MOH that the PC offers is just as good with a good video card. Same gameplay?

one bad thing about the ps2 was the controls is suck.

It's two completely different games. Both are set in the MOH "universe"

PC=Allied Assault
PS2=Frontline Assault

I dunno what the PC one is based on, but the PS2 one is based on the missions before Operation Marketgarden

Well the PC one was made by 2015 and the PS2 one by EA LA (both are published by EA, they own the franchise). They are both FPS fare. I personally haven't played the PS2 one. The PC one was marginal at best. Looked awesome, but nothing spectacular or new. They look about the same from what I can tell and same gameplay. I really dunno, I was just clearing up that they two completely different games from 2 completely different companies.

yea i never played the ps2 version, i did notice the games name was different on the ps2 box though:) but based on doom 3 portable to the xbox but not ps2,.. pc's can definetly already be more powerful then the ps2:p whether mohaa with its old q3 engine would stress a ps2 enough that sacrifices would have to be made, i dunno.

They're both good games... I'm playing through Frontline at the moment.

I was never much into console shooters, but MOH:Frontline was good enough to make me pick it up. I think it was worth the $$, but if you're a hardcore PC fanboy, then you should just pick up MOH:Allied Assualt.

Both great games for their respective platforms.

There are some missions that are the same and some missions that are different between the two games. Just discussing this with a friend today who has the ps2 version and I have the pc version and there are some differences in the level order and type. Sounds to me like the pc version is a bit harder on the same level setting, and I know mine looks better on my computer even with my somewhat old video card.

My friend who's played both (I just have the PC ver) says while the PS2 version looks better (I can't argue for the PC version either because I have seen it in person at E3), the framereates stutter a lot.
