Give me a break. They lock threads like "My 200th post!" within a minute of the thread's creation. This stupid britney porn movie thread was on the first OT page for over an hour. They saw it, and chose to leave it open (for whatever personal fetish reasons).
I start a thread about drinking beer, and it is locked. This is the reason I get from the mod who locked it: "Discussions about shotgunning beers, and other acts of dangerous total stupidity are not welcome on our forums."

Now I find that completely disrespectful. If a mod's personal tastes, outside of school and work, conflict with mine, that is NO reason for them to lock my thread. It wasn't sexist, racist, or insulting to anyone. I enjoy drinking beer, as do many others on this forum, and I see no reason why a thread can't exist on that topic.
