With over 100 million people registered on the AIM service, this vulnerability poses a serious security risk for Internet users worldwide. i searched didnt find it.

Some guy called Buddhist <SOMETHING>just IMed me as I was reading my post on slashdot..

I temorarly fixed it by not lettting people outside my list to IM me. I blocked that guy.. I dont know who he is.

Why sticky it? AOL's gonna be fixing it server-side soon.

UPDATES:
1. AOL will be fixing this on the server's side within a day or two.
This means it will not be necessary for users to upgrade.
2. Versions dating back to at least AIM 4.3 are vulnerable
