Mods should not be anonymous!!!

I want to see who is making the comments in posts, locking the threads, and banning users...

In other forums, moderators are known....When I was a mod at bleedinedge for my friend Mikki it was in my title. I never had to lock a thread or ban users there as flames were a rarity...

At 2cpu.com, I know who the mods are...At XS I know who the mods are (the guys you dont piss off)...there that is a necessity, so you can see what side of the fence they ride, and post accordingly....Favortism abound there for certain users.

I think it is a little bit cowardice....though I am sure it has always been this way and some mods wouldn't mind having that info known to all

MODS should be known IMHO....enough of this secretive society. I am sure this cannot be for safety reasons for them....I mean come on it is a computer hardware forum....Maybe keep the Offtopic forum's mods secretive , sinced many who post in there are nuts!!! 😉

MOds reply and do more then lock!!!!

Judging by your statement, your opinion does not appear so humble
Calling us cowards is going to get you booted out of here

Anand has clearly stated that he wants the Moderators to remain anonymous

I don't think that it matters if they show their main accounts or not, but I would like multiple moderator accounts. For example, Jim was the first moderator and gets the account Moderator 1. Bob was the second moderator and he gets the account Moderator 2. That way the moderators themselves don't have to worry about being flamed or not, but at the same time it is easier to tell which moderator did what.

This I think is a good idea. A while back, I was dealing with 4 Mods all at once over PMs, with no idea who was saying what. It made it very difficult to keep track of the conversation.
