Mods remove please

I agree with you on the widescreen dude. You jump onboard thinking "ooh, that looks alright" and then you don't notice the improvement until you go back to a 4:3 or 5:4 screen, and you wonder to yourself wtf is going on!? It just seems so unnatural!

I was considering downgrading my 2005fpw to a 19" LCD to score a bit of extra cash (christmas season, new pair of tires and other car fixings, etc has me living light!). Then I tried my buddy's 19" LCD and it just felt wrong.

Personally I think a lot of people will be switching to the 2005fpw in the future, since it's one of the best (and only) widescreen monitors in the 17" to 20" range, and since it is an easier resolution to run than 1920X1200. Although at times I wish I could cheat down to 1280X800 for certain games (namely FEAR, which I needed to upgrade to a 7800GT to keep it playable @ native res).
 
1920x1200 isn't *that* bad. My X800Pro gets by ok with minimal settings and 2XAA.

I would get the 2005FPW. It's your best bet if you're gonna go smaller than the 2405 and still want widescreen. I can't think of any other good options in the ~$500 price range.
