You're not confused, it's merely a highly arcane word that is seldom user, or included in most dictionaries for that matter. It can be found in the complete Oxford Dictionary.

I obviously do not want the forums closed due to illegal software trafficking, it's merely that turning people in goes against my grain (it relates back to an early childhood experience). In any case, I stand corrected.
