Mods - Lost Thread in Forum Issues

Once it's gone, it's usually gone for good, unless it's been moved or something like that.

Just FYI (taken from the Forum FAQ) 🙂

<< 2. If you are having trouble locating a thread do not ask the forum moderators or administrators where it might be as there are millions of messages in this forum; knowing where one is, is impossible. >>

I would have expected that the thread have been locked, not removed.

I generated it to raise the awareness of Zuni and others.

It was only commenting about the sluggishness of the systems over the past week. No flaming or nastieness was in any of the existing posts. I never had a chance to read the last post though.

It was probably removed because the topic isn't a new one in FI. There have been many threads in the past dealing with the same issue. I think it was safe to delete (if, indeed, that is what happened) because Zuni et all were already aware of it. 🙂

Agreed - The only reason why I started the topic was that last month, the forums started working smoothly. I had posted a compliment to Zuni, et al about it.

I do not know how they connect, so they may not notice when the degredation starts. by alerting them, they may be able to uncover an event that triggers the sluggishness.

Also, I would have expected that the lost thread would have been lost sooner than a 24 hr period after creation.
