I'm pretty sure I've done this a lot, especially through high school. I think I read most of the stuff for the essays in college, but then again probably not because I'm really lazy. No specific examples though.

I do recall one time in world history (the easiest class ever) this one girl had to give a speech. But she had this bright pink bookmarker at the beginning of the book. And she didn't have a speech written, nor did she know what it was about, she just kept flipping through the first 30 or 40 pages of a 400 page book and flipping to the summary on the back all while continually saying "Uhhh...".

My reseach is laughable, and I don't think that anyone would be able to read this paper and think that I have a clue as to what I'm writing about. But I have 2 days of classes left, cannot fail the class, and am already going to college next year regardless of the grade, so I'm simply writing whatever pops into my head at the moment. So, what have you guys done? Writing an English paper without reading the book or any notes, making up the characters and plot as you go along? I know I'm not the only one out there, so share!

Looks like a master thesis if you found a new way to program. :)

I think all of my papers are the worst. I always wait till the last moment and then decide to use Courier New. All you cheaters know what that does :D.
