so i installed the dnd anthology not that long ago. might install the nwn collection in some time

have installed the co8 mod for the temple of elemental evil. like the front end. works just like the mod selection screen for mount and blade. this way i can choose the mod i want to play before i run the program.

what mods should i consider for any of the games that i will be playing

NWN was built for modding, and has thousands of community generated quests, many of them with stories just as long and intricate as the actual campaign.

If you want to talk D&D and modding, NWN is the place to go.

in my defense, they both truncate to mod?

There is is some modding involved, in that the community pack is required. It adds a ridiculous amount of extra assets.

It's been way too long since I've played NWN. A dedicated site will be much more useful than I am to find the top add-on campaigns.

I would sell my soul (what's left of it) for more adventures in the Temple of Elemental Evil engine.

You can get just about everything for NWN with just the Community Expansion Pack (CEP). It's kind of the default for most servers to use it at this point.

Also if you enjoy Forgotten Realms then Higher Grounds (a NWN persistent world/Diablo clone module) is pretty excellent.
