Mods for HL2, or BF2?

Anyone know any good game mods for HL2, or BF2? I havn't been following the source scene, and there arn't any BF2 mods out there that I really like. I've seen some of the reality, and infantry mods for BF2 but i'm just not interested in them because i'm tired of seeing the same old stuff.

Funny, after year(s) i just installed the "Fakefactory Cinematic full Mod 2.32" which is a 1.6 GB download and replaces most textures with high-res textures and adds a new soundtrack. (I personally did NOT like the orchestral (movie-like) soundtrack btw. and deleted the "music" folder 🙂 But the textures are not bad, eg. grass etc.

Be warned, tho, you need at least a dx9 capable 256MB+ videocard and 1GB PC memory. I get quite a kick out of it because it brings back memories what a good game HL2 actually is.
