Snooker, assuming that you are the one selling the items, you're coming to the Hot Deals forum and saying "Buy from me!". I don't find myself floored by the prices on the site. In my humble opinion, if you wanted to post a possible hot-deal, post where you obtain the items from so that everyone else can share in the deal.

As I said in the thread in question, I would post where I got them from, but I really do not see anyone taking advantage of a local outlet having a clearance. That is why I bought it all up and then posted it in the HOT DEALS forum, so members can see it and buy it if they want, not tell me &quot;What are we supposed to do with that since it is local to you?&quot; I have seen that already once in these forums, so I decided to take that out and buy all the stuff myself and then pass it along, I do know now, it has to be someone else getting the money for the deal, not the person posting it. I am not sure why it is like that because all I would have to do is have a friend do it for me, and it would be all aok then, but if I do it myself, it is a nono. Very confusing, but I think I have it now.

I honestly believe some members are on here to do nothing more then cause trouble. My own opinion though 😉

I am sorry Bangsailio, I was not refering to you, you are one of the few that has actually been helpful to me in getting familiar with these forums, I am refering to the ones that was cutting/pasting the same exact post to all of my threads regardless of the nature/location of the thread. That I consider harassment.

Not you though, you have been a model member and I will respect you considerably, I can not say that for a couple other members though.

I haven't had time to wade through that whole scenario, and I'm on my way out right now. If you are advertising your own items in the &quot;Hot Deals&quot; forum, that is clearly against the rules. As to other members being unfriendly, that is the unfortunate side effect of having 50,000 members, many of whom haven't learned social skills yet.

If, however, they have kept warning you and you refuse to pay attention, please accept this as informing you of the rules about selling your own items in Hot Deals.

As I said, I didn't wade through it, so I don't know. Let's all move on.
