RTM asked me for help since he thinks he was given a vacation prematurely in this thread. I just told him I would post this here since he mentioned he had not gotten a reply to his emails.

Here was his email to me:



<< I posted @ 10:45 (it shows on my post) just for a bump, than i left to do some things. I guess the mods posted that i needed to take something out of my thread (a 30/30 rifle) which i didnt see cause i was out doing things.

than i came back at 2:45 and just scrolled down for another bump and missed the warning from them. next thing i know a guy i know from anadtech is IM'ing me saysing: they locked your thread. i went t the thread and read what the mod posted and right then and there i took out the 30/30 from ym webpage. than about 5 minutes later i got this:

"You were warned at 10:42AM to remove the reference to the firearm. Since you choose not do to so your posting privileges are revoked for one week.

AnandTech Moderator"

I removed it as soon as i saw the post! and i have to go to LA ina couple days so i really needed to work some of these deals so i could take them down to LA (I have alot fo heavey things). I have been here for a long time and i have never pissed the mods off and i alwways do what they say. and this was nothing more than i miscommunication.

I know this isnt your fight i just can't get ahold of them. I tried e-mailing them @ moderators@nanatech.com . no response.

i think this is crazy that i was banned for an accident that was fixed as soon as i did realize (as you can see the gap in time i was out i did a bump for the road at 10:45 and a return bump at 2:30 or so)

Thats obvious. One reason that stares me in the face is that there is no way to verify someone's age here, therefore someone of 14 could buy the items sold here for example. That means we have to be careful about what is sold.
 
Another reason is you have to have special permits to transport firearms over state lines if you have the intent to sell them.
