My poll that was about getting a software piracy figure from people, which was just removed from the OT board, was about understanding the importance of the whole issue. It wasn't about promoting it or condoning it at all. It might have sounded a little 'loose' but I wanted people to feel free to be honest in it. Its a very important issue in the tech area and I think it would have been helpful to see the results. I researched the topic on the OT board and there was another do/don't poll about it that was deemed acceptable so I didn't feel this would be inappropriate and would love to see the results of a poll like that.
So far before it was removed, of 23 people, more answered ">$1500" than "none".... I find that astonishing and would love to see how the results turned out.
