Mods, any way to un-ban Compuserve IP's???

Hey, no flames please, if this topic has been covered before -- all that was showing up on the topic list was the posts since the new year, and I've never visited this forum before.

Last week I was at home (up to this point I've gone to college out of state) visiting for the holidays. There's no dsl service there like I have at school, so we have to use dial-up. So I install Compuserve on my computer and think to myself, "Hey, I think I'll check the AT forums."

I try to make a post and to my amazement I'm 'banned'. I thought I had perhaps angered the mods somehow, but couldn't understand how. At any rate, I eventually figured out it was probably due to the AOL IP ban (AOL bought out Compuserve if I'm correct).

Mods, I beg you, is there any way to lift the ban on Compuserve IP's? I love the forums and want to keep participating but won't be able to if something can't be done about this. I'm moving back home in the next couple days, hence the post here.

Thanks.

Oh, it wouldn't be hard to un-ban Compuserve (which is owned by AOL, isn't it?), but it ain't gonna happen.
