Last E3, Sony announced that it was continuing the "Play, Create, and Share" initiative for the Playstation 3 that originally started with LittleBigPlanet by introducing ModNation Racers. ModNation Racers is a kart racing title that allows you to not only create your racer and car but the race tracks too.
Since LittleBigPlanet also found its way to the PSP, the news that ModNation Racers is coming to the PSP is not unexpected. What is unexpected is that Sony announced that ModNation Racers is coming out for the PSP at the same time it is scheduled to arrive for the Playstation 3. No date for the release is announced yet but the game is expected some time in the fall.
Sony promises that everything in the Playstation 3 version of the game will be in the PSP version as well. The PSP version will not miss the online multiplayer, the track creation, the racer creation, or anything else. The only differences for the PSP version of ModNation Racers will be reduced graphics and the ability to play it while on the go.
