modifying windows NT registry file

I have stupidly dragged MetroWerks Codewarrior into the recycling bin and emptied it. From then on I could not reinstall Codewarrior because he registry file is messed up.

Is it safe to completely delete all the registry under Codewarrior in regedit?

Thanks in advance

Find all references to the softwre in the registry and remove them.

I would also insure there are no shared files that may have been dropped elsewhere on the system... like in the system directories.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ METROWERKS

is the only folder I found in Registry Editor for Metrowerks Codewarrior. Could there be others? So I can just simplily delete that right? I have this machine at work and I don't want to risk getting fired if I do something stupid.
