i don't know if this belongs here or in cases/cooling, but i purchased the aforementioned cooler for my 9800 pro. apparently this doesn't fit the 9800 pro, eventhough the description at the time of purchase said it did. actually, it does fit the 9800 pro, but only the 256mb version, which wasn't stated on the website.
anyways, is there anyway to modify this so that it fits on my existing card? it looks like i need to cut the larger pins on the outside of the cooler, but i want to make sure that the inner pins will align properly into the holes around the core.
has anyone successfully modified this cooler to fit the 128mb boards?
