I bought two sets of USB to micro-B cables and USB car chargers from monoprice.com for use with an LG Lotus and a Motorola Q9 (e or c). They work great with the Lotus. The cable works fine with the Motorola Q9 when connected to my computer. But when I try to plug it into the car charger, it does not charge. Is there a way to modify the USB car charger so that it will work with the Motorola phone?

Here's a link to the car charger: http://www.monoprice.com/products/p...=10826&cs_id=1082602&p_id=3523&seq=1&format=2
And also the USB cable: http://www.monoprice.com/products/p...=10303&cs_id=1030307&p_id=4867&seq=1&format=2

It'd be safer to just get a car charger for that phone. Any modifications and you could be playing with fire... literally

Yea, on some of their phones, moto will only charge if plugged into a computer or an actual moto charger. They sorta missed the whole point in using mini USB.
