modify imac monitor for use with pc?

Hey all, I just came across an imac that a friend doesn't need anymore. I want to use the crt on my server. Does anyone know of a way to convert the monitor so it can be used with a pc?

Before I would use an iMac, I would first install terminal services for win2k or just use telnet to your server

I am already vnc into my server box as it is. the imac isn't worth much, but the CRT is pretty good, especially when its free. Any thoughts??

honestly, even if it is broken, I would sell it on ebay. People pay big bucks to make em into tissue boxes and fish tanks..

so sell it, and buy a nice new montiro for it(the server)

You would need to open it up and see exactly how the monitor connects to the rest of the Mac. If you can easily figure out where the wires are then all you need to do is figure out how to put them into a plug that will fit into your video card... The best way would probably be to post on some good mac forum and see if anyone knows.
