Specifically for ATI. Anyone here willing to test this drivers or has any experience in them? I would like to find it out my self but i don't have the time nor the bandwidth (1GB cap a day) to do it.
DNA-ATI drivers http://donotargue.com/
and TwL genetix http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=322616
1.) Do they really work? And if they do in what way (do they increase frame rate, maybe they help reduce stuttering, etc.)
2.) How is image quality compared to the official driver

Just look at the issues log in your second link. Pretty much sums up how they compare.

I didn't know people still modded drivers. I remember using Omega drivers back in the days of analog outputs and CRTs when driver tweaks could really help image quality but haven't used them in ages.

I think the best combination for ATI drivers at the moment is the TWL driver pack controled by RadeonPro by Japamd. Both are found in that GURU3d Twl forum link at the top.

Those guys make a hobby out of fixing driver issues for things like functioning AA/AF and solutions for crashing with new and old titles alike. Then RadeonPro is basicly NVCP + Rivatuner tailored for AMD/ATI Radeon cards... a good combination.
