I have noticed that the Antec 1200 comes only in black and with blue LED case fans, but sometimes black and blue are not always on a person's mind.

Has Anyone seen or have a link to modified Antec Twelve Hundred Cases? Or better yet Does anyone have a Modified Antec 1200?

ex: instead of blue led fans, how about red or green? I read somewhere that it may not be possible to change the fans since they are connected with a fan controller. Another ex: instead of black, how about silver or blue, etc?

You can always redo the wiring and paint it yourself.
Are you the one looking to build a $4500 system? I'd say be creative and take inspirations from different things like say... a cool car grille.

The case is still new so there may not be any finished mods to look at for it. But as will any case mod the possibilities are only limited to your ability to perform the mod. The sky is the limit. I have yet to find a perfect case. There is always something you can change or improve on. If you need ideas then have a loot around a good modding site and se the kinds of things other have doen to there cases. Like i said you may not find any 1200 mods but insperation can come from anywhere.

Here is a really good modding site.

There are a wealth of interesting mods there.

actually I am the guy looking to build a $4500 system, but that changed now. my budget is topped at $3500 now, starting getting some of the stuff already, the tower included, which is actually not a Antec 1200 that I intended to buy, i got myself a Lian-Li Full tower.

I was just curious to what possibilities the 1200 had in terms of modding, if was going to get it, i mean dont get me wrong i really love the case its just the side panel limited me from what I was planning to mod it to, needed more "canvas" to work with so I chose a Lian-Li.

As for the 1200, i wished it came with red LED fans, thats why i was wondering if for one, is it possible to change the fans without hindering anything and second if anyone has finally modded the tower in a different way and I was wondering if they would like to share their experiences.

Most fans are replaceable. I was just made aware of a new LED fan with white LEDs - red, green, blue, and amber or orange are commonly available, but generally not in top quality fans. Go to majorgeeks.com and click on the daily reviews for today. Cooler Master LED fans have been favorites for reasonably low noise while looking good, but they don't move much air. Most fans that are currently at the top of the quality pyramid are black, but I have found the Cooler Master 110CFM fan (MSRP $19. w/ passive controlers) can quiet down nicely at a reduced speed and can push plenty of air when needed, but the LED version is only in blue. I suppose one could change out the LEDs for his/her favorite color if s/he was so inclined.

You can get a red LED Zalman ZM-F3, which have been proven to be excellent fans. I'm going to be putting some red ones in my Cosmos S for that red look; it's gonna be sweet.

I just ordered one yesterday! It will be here Monday - I will let you know how it looks for modding. I'm really exited to get this case, It will be a big improvement over my P180. I doubt I will do much modding though, the built in wire management looks awesome and I definitely will not need to add any more fans or cut out any grills :D

I thought it looked huge, but its only like 2 inches taller than my P180 and almost the same width and depth.

Yup, it's silly to make such a large case and still allow only up to ATX size mobos. I think all the Stackers hold up to EATX/CES (12"x13") size mobos. Even if you only use ATX size or smaller, you have lots of nice elbow room
