Most people either love or hate MM. they have a decidedly Mudhoney feel IMHO and tons of people hate mudhoney so, there ya go.

 
One of my favorites. Great band. I tend to like the older albulms better, but The Moon and Antartica is still one of my favorite albulms. I'm shocked that many people know about them. Try Built to Spill also. Not quite up to MM imo, but still a great band.
 
This is my favorite band, as most of you can probably tell from my sig; cream of the local crop here. CorporateRec, how is Modest Mouse pretentious? There's not much pretense in their stage presence or their lyrics if you ask me. 🙂
