First of I like to say i'm using a gigabyte p45 ud3p board with the SLI hack using two bfg tech 285 oc2. CPU is e7400 @ 3.8ghz. win7 x64bit and 8gb ram.
Driver version is the 190.62. For the RECORD SLI does work and it does increase the framerate. I did Vantage Mark trial version with default settings and got around 23k with SLI on and with it off I got somewhere like 17 or 18 I can't remember exactly.

I ran MW2 at 1900x1200 with everthing at max vsync off. With SLI off certain scenes I get over 250+ fps and dips down to 60-65 on intense scenes. With SLI on my max is around 170-190 on the same location and dips down to 40-45 on intense scenes. This is single player. I'm not sure what I'm missing. Could this just be a driver issue or optimization issue on the MW2.

I've tried playing street fighter 4 and SLI increase my average fps by about 30 fps at 1900x1200 so I know that SLI is working and it's working. I haven't had a chance to test many other games but the combo of vantage mark and street fighter already tells me SLI is working correctly. GPU-Z says SLI is enable and so does Everest.

Anyone with a P45 hack sli can comment on this?

How are you testing fps in mw2. If you let me know, I will test mine as well. I don't believe I ever dip below 100. Never notice any mouse lag at all, even in windowed mode with constant alt tabbing to my second monitor.

Yeah i have the same problem. FPS dipps down to about 26 in busy scenes like the urban Washington area. Seems a lil better w/ sli off. Got 8800gt 512mb, q6600 at 3.2ghz, playing at 1680x1050. Of course everything in game maxed out.

I don't really use any software to test it, just get to the same scene and you can definitely tell FPS dipping in the red zone. I use MW2Unleash to unlock the console and display the FPS that way.

Digitaldurandal - We are talking SP only.

Anyone else understand this SLI problem?
