Well, the title really says it all. In certain apps (news, start screen itself, People, bing, etc..), I can use the scroll wheel to navigate the screen horizontally like it's supposed to. However, in a few other apps such as Solitaire, Mahjong, Netflix, and there was another that I can remember off the top of my head, the scrolling ABSOLUTELY doesn't work. I am literally forced to grab the bar at the bottom or I have to use the arrow keys.
I have a Logitech G9 mouse with the device settings/drivers installed. I set them up to how I like my computer to work, and I even reset them back to factory to see if that fixes it, and it does not. I'm running the Enterprise Eval version. I'm going to install Windows 8 on Friday when I get it in, but at the moment, I'm trying to understand as to why I can't scroll in those apps right now.
Side note: Netflix keeps telling me I don't have the right driver installed/it fails to load a driver whenever I go to play any kind of video. I uninstalled it, but it still says it after a reinstall. I do have the latest driver installed as well. :l
You can ignore the side note. It was just something that has been CONSTANTLY happening for me.
.....Also, while we're at it, my computer will NOT at all shut down the monitor. I normally have it set to turn off after 10 minutes of inactivity, but it stays on. I wake up in the morning, and it is STILL on. I have the power settings like they should, but it STILL will not shut off. I have no idea how to fix that, and it's annoying the hell out of me.
If any of you have suggestions for any of these problems, please let me know!
